We previously talked about the legality of Kanna, and noted that louisiana was the one state in the US in which Kanna was prohibited in any capacity. The law in question which deals with prohibiting Kanna is Revised Statute- Title 40, 40:989.1. Today I would like to take a look at the list of plants which are prohibited under this statute.
Frankly, this list is rather ridiculous. There are several fungi included in this list of prohibited plants, and there are several misspellings of the said prohibited plants.
