One of the difficult parts of growing rare and unusual plants is that there tend to be no pictures of things and therefore no reference points to some of the things you’ll encounter with your plants. To that end, I have had some luck in pollinating my Kanna plants recently and I was disappointed in being unable to find many good images of kanna seed pods. I will be posting images throughout my journey with these seed pods to show you their development.

I had two genetically distinct plants bloom concurrently on June 7th-June 20th. All pollination happened between these points.

The seed pods are a bit bigger after a few days, especially at the base. I’m having some new flowers blooming concurrently, so I’m hoping to pollinate some more and produce more seed pods
